In 1990, two young men reportedly photographed a strange shape above the Scottish landscape. Their photographs reached a newspaper and the Ministry of Defence, but the image never appeared in print.
More than thirty years later, a surviving print surfaced. The original negatives remain missing, the photographers’ identities uncertain, and the object in the picture disputed.
