On 18 December 1975, George and Kathy Lutz moved their three children into a large house on the Amityville waterfront. They knew a family had died there the year before. They bought it anyway.
Twenty-eight days later, they were gone. The explanation they gave for leaving would turn that house into one of the most famous addresses in America.
